Suzanne Shires

Suzanne Shires is a North Carolina native herbalist, author, educator and homesteader. She learned to tend gardens and preserve food naturally from ‘mountain folk’ grandparents. Granny-women and country doctors were just a part of life, with old ways to heal from the plants and remedies of Appalachia.  Her homestead and sustainable lifestyle led her to a serious education into herbalism and nutrition.  She teaches others the skills of herbalism and finding nutritional food in times of disaster.

John Bradley

John Bradley was introduced to real estate after running his own truck business for 20 years. He quickly understood the importance of owning both land and houses, so he bought his own land and started renovating old army barracks into triplex that he rented to the community. This led him to a quest of wanting to find the best small affordable housing solutions. He settled on container homes and started building them for others as a sustainable, cost-effective form of building.
